A real celebrity. Its renown goes back several centuries although the days of round, straw-covered flasks are over. This blend is dominated by the Sangiovese grape. It is a young ruby color tending to garnet and shows aromas of black cherries and chocolate with aromatic spices and wood. With good acidity and well-integrated tannins, the attack is firm and it has both richness and finesse in the mouth. It is a pleasing, aromatic wine.
