Noni Bacca Winery is Wilmington's "Premier Boutique” winery located just 5 miles from beautiful Wrightsville Beach.  Our tasting room is open 7 days a week to accommodate customers for wine tasting and retail purchases.

The name Noni Bacca is a childhood family nickname for Toni, the owner, along with her husband Ken.  They both learned wine making skills from years of immersion in culturally rich, European tradition, passed down by generations.  Toni's Grandfather, John Kostoff and her father, Walter Kostoff, brought their wine making style to America.  These skills were developed in the "old country" of Bansko, Bulgaria, currently a ski resort village in the Pirine Mountains.

Ken's skills span about 5 decades in viniculture, viticulture and horticulture.  It's in his blood.  Ken is first generation Sicilian-American.  Both sides of his family are immigrants of Sicily, who came to America in the early 1900's, bringing their agricultural skills with them.  His mother's family originated in Palermo and his father's from Licata, on the southern shores of Sicily.  The Incorvaia's farmed grapes, olives, vegetables and orange groves on the land still farmed by the family today.

We are known for our "Big Italian" red wines.  When you visit, you can see our fermenting room, which on any given day, is producing approximately 20 different varietals of wine.  Our wine is made from some of the finest varieties of grapes in the world. Varieties are brokered in mainly from the richest grape growing regions of the world including:  Tuscany, Chile, Australia, Washington State, California and, of course, North Carolina.  All of our wine is fermented on premise in stainless steel tanks and aged in the bottle.  That's what makes our wines so smooth.  We choose to age in the bottle because experience dictates that extended barrel ageing, without a proper barrel room that is temperature and humidity controlled, can dehydrate and oxidize wine.

Our wine is available for purchase at our Retail Store and Online.  We offer wonderful table wines and fortified blends up to 24% alc/vol.

Like family, we welcome you to visit us at any time.  Relax over a glass of wine and enjoy the atmosphere.  We'd love to hear your wine making stories.

Give us a try, you'll love our quality and variety!
